That said, it’s easy to get stuck in a rut; especially during these unique and changing times. Perhaps being stuck in this rut has caused you to set aside goals such as get a new or better job; a promotion; to take a course and develop a new skill or two to change careers or change direction in your current job; to study for a certification. Maybe you have other goals but aren’t reaching them and aren’t sure why.
There is a reason behind everything you do. You may not realize it at the time you make a particular decision. But it’s true. Consider such simple things as brushing your teeth, taking a shower. OK. While these are things you do, daily, they are on autopilot; you don’t think about these things you just do them.
On the other hand there can be subliminal reasons why you do something or don’t do something you know you should do. These are things you may not even admit to yourself. When you understand the ‘why’ – which can cause you to ‘get stuck’ – you can then successfully move forward.
